A HPE Aruba Networking Case Study
Traders Point Christian Church is a large, media‑rich congregation in Indianapolis serving about 5,500 weekend attendees and 100,000 annual visitors across a 300,000 sq ft facility that includes a 2,700‑seat worship center, café, library, gym and indoor playground. The church needed reliable, high‑capacity Wi‑Fi to support BYOD use for digital Bibles, sermon notes and social media during services and large community events, but its legacy wireless system repeatedly crashed under load.
After evaluating vendors, Traders Point deployed Aruba Networks solutions — AP135 access points, Mobility Controllers and Aruba AirWave for centralized management, with MST200 mesh and Instant APs for overflow and outdoor coverage — and plans to adopt 802.11ac and Aruba ClearPass for future growth. The new WLAN delivers ubiquitous, high‑performance connectivity that enables the church app, digital Bible use, live social engagement and scalable support for special events and multi‑site expansion, making robust Wi‑Fi mission‑critical to its ministry and community outreach.
