A HPE Aruba Networking Case Study
Worthington City Schools, a 9,500-student district in Ohio, confronted a saturated wireless infrastructure as student, teacher and BYOD device usage surged and modern instructional models and online assessments became essential. The district needed a scalable, high-performance WLAN to support daily classroom technology use and evolving curriculum requirements.
Worthington partnered with Aruba Networks to deploy an enterprise 802.11ac WLAN—including Aruba AP-225 access points, Mobility Access Switches and AirWave management—using a phased rollout (360 APs in six schools) and leveraging ClientMatch and unified access. The upgrade delivered gigabit-class speeds, greater device density and centralized visibility, improving classroom streaming, adaptive learning and administrative cloud access while positioning the district for future growth.
