Five-star hotel brand elevates guest experience with digital touchpoints

The Westin London City, the first Westin in the UK and a 222-room five-star property operated by RBH Management Group, needed a flexible, future-proof network to support a wide range of guest and operational digital applications across hotel, event and wellness spaces. Key challenges were delivering reliable, hotel-wide Wi‑Fi, supporting current and planned services, and providing real-time visibility and secure segmentation for different user types.

To meet that need the hotel deployed a unified Aruba wired and wireless architecture (300+ APs including 222 in-room Hospitality APs, Aruba controllers and access switches) with managed network services from Hoist Group. The result is a scalable, secure platform that enables a fully digital guest journey (self check-in, digital keys, in‑app room service), granular analytics and heatmaps, segmented guest/operations/visitor networks, connected building sensors for sustainability, and the operational freedom for staff to focus on hospitality.
