Their legacy design risked cascading outages, lacked visibility into wired and wireless devices, and required greater flexibility for moving equipment and controlling vendor access.

By deploying Aruba ESP — Wi‑Fi 6 access points, Aruba CX switches, ClearPass, AirWave and UXI — the district implemented 802.1X authentication, dynamic segmentation and a zero‑trust wired policy (including vendor USB tokens that restrict VLAN access).
