A HPE Aruba Networking Case Study

Preview of the Engel & Völkers Case Study

Establishing platform to sharpen the digital edge of the real estate market

Engel & Völkers, a global broker of premium residential and commercial real estate, set out to sharpen its digital edge while keeping the personal, in-person nature of property sales. The business needed a solid, centrally manageable network to support cloud-based productivity apps, a flexible 6,800 sqm Hamburg head office, secure BYOD and remote access for sensitive roles, and a platform that would simplify onboarding of digital assets and integration of emerging PropTech across hundreds of agencies.

The company deployed an Aruba SD‑Branch architecture — including a 100G backbone, Aruba Central, ClearPass for NAC and onboarding, remote access points with a cloud VPN concentrator, high‑density APs and UXI sensors — hosted on Google Cloud. The result is a secure, automated and centrally managed network that delivers seamless cloud access, end-to-end visibility of users and devices, reduced need for onsite IT intervention, and a unified wired/wireless/WAN platform ready to scale across 630 agencies and 13,000+ users while accelerating PropTech integration.
