A HPE Aruba Networking Case Study
Alesco School is a small, community-based independent school on the NSW Central Coast that provides tailored education for students in years 9–10 who struggle in mainstream settings. After receiving a grant in 2012, the school sought an enterprise‑level technology solution on a bare‑bones budget that would be easy to self-manage, cost‑effective, reliable and ready to grow.
Partnering with Accucom, Alesco deployed an Aruba Networks Instant Solution—four IAP‑93 access points serving about 50 computers across four classrooms—which was simple to install and administer. The reliable wireless network quickly enabled student-led research and web design projects, boosted engagement for previously disengaged learners, and delivered an enterprise‑grade system the school can scale as it expands into years 11 and 12.
