FSTechnology S.p.A., the digital-innovation arm of FS Italiane, modernizes railway engineering to improve safety, efficiency and time‑to‑market. To support a more mobile workforce and tighter collaboration while hardening security and ensuring uninterrupted connectivity across many sites, the company needed rapid site deployment, simpler management and seamless scalability.

Using HPE Aruba Networking Wi‑Fi 6 access points, Mobility Conductors/Controllers and AirWave with ClearPass, FSTechnology centralized IT operations, monitoring and policy enforcement. The rollout enabled secure seamless roaming, automated role‑based NAC across sites, a fivefold increase in mobile users within nine months and lower costs, energy use and CO2 emissions.
