A HPE Aruba Networking Case Study
Tottenham Hotspur’s new 62,062‑seat stadium (opened 2019) was designed as a multi‑purpose commercial engine and fan experience platform. The club needed a technology foundation that was built in from day one—scalable, resilient and secure—to deliver immersive, always‑connected experiences, extend match‑day engagement and revenue, and support partners, media and critical building systems.
HPE/Aruba delivered that foundation: thousands of network ports, 1,600+ access points, core and data‑centre FlexFabric switches, ClearPass, AirWave, IMC, nearly 700 BLE beacons, the Meridian app platform and HPE Pointnext services to enable the Tottenham Hotspur app, e‑ticketing, wayfinding, cashless POS, IPTV and operational monitoring. The result is high‑performance wireless across the site (allowing roughly 40,000 fans to stream simultaneously), enhanced fan engagement and longer match‑day visits, robust venue operations and secure, role‑based access for staff, partners and visitors.
