Preview of the Al-Nassr FC Case Study

Digital layer kicks off football’s new image

Al‑Nassr Club Company, one of Saudi Arabia’s leading football clubs with more than 60 million followers and $680M in brand visibility in 2023, wanted to transform how fans engage with the team—delivering more content and behind‑the‑scenes access, simplifying IoT and biometrics, and securely commercializing data—while scaling operations to support global reach and large match‑day crowds.

To achieve this, Al‑Nassr built a wireless‑first digital sports campus on HPE Aruba Networking (Wi‑Fi 7 access points, CX switches, EdgeConnect SD‑WAN, Central, ClearPass). The deployment underpins Nassr TV, connects cameras, sensors, F&B and staff across 20 buildings, and lets the club scale from ~300 users on quiet days to 10,000+ on match days with policy‑driven QoS and high availability. The network delivered centralized management and strong security with no issues in the first four months, enabling reliable live streaming and faster rollout of new services.
