De Rooi Pannen creates an enterprise-class learning experience for vocational students

De Rooi Pannen is a vocational education community in the Netherlands with 14 sites in Tilburg, Eindhoven and Breda, training students for careers in hospitality, tourism, design, catering and events. Facing an ageing, fragmented wireless estate across a mix of old and modern buildings, the school needed consistent, high‑performance Wi‑Fi, centralised control, segmented access for different user groups, and simplified network management to support mobile, digital learning.

The organisation deployed a modern Aruba solution—400+ AP‑315 access points with Aruba controllers, Mobility Master and AirWave management plus per‑AP security and RF protection—delivered by a local systems integrator. The result is a centrally managed, secure, enterprise‑class wireless network that provides seamless access for students and staff, enables department‑level network segmentation, simplifies operations and creates a platform for future mobility and IoT initiatives.
