A HPE Aruba Networking Case Study
Al Ghurair Investment, a diversified UAE conglomerate operating across 25 businesses and 20+ countries, needed to consolidate decades of disparate, unit-level IT into a single, secure and scalable network to support its push for digital transformation and new revenue streams (25% of revenues from new businesses by 2025). The legacy, decentralized network model impeded central oversight, slowed deployments, and limited the company’s ability to adopt 5G, IoT and smart-building technologies.
The group deployed Aruba Wi‑Fi 6 access points, Aruba CX switches, Aruba Central for cloud management and Aruba ClearPass for access control, creating standardized network templates and Zero Touch provisioning. The new platform cut deployment times from days to hours, enabled single-pane management of 75 branches, supports 3,500 users on a wireless-first workplace, tightened security (integrated with Palo Alto firewalls) and reduced costs—delivering a resilient, scalable foundation to accelerate digital initiatives and faster go-to-market for new business opportunities.
