A HPE Aruba Networking Case Study

Preview of the Cranebrook High School Case Study

Cranebrook High School deploys Aruba Networks, allowing staff and students to seamlessly access high speed and reliable Wi-Fi throughout its learning premises

Cranebrook High School, a secondary school in Sydney’s West with over 1,000 students and 70 staff, needed a scalable, high‑performance wireless network to support its Connected Learning Plan. The school’s challenge was to provide seamless, secure, high‑speed Wi‑Fi across every classroom and campus space that could onboard any device type (laptops, tablets, smartphones) and support applications like Moodle and ClickView while keeping IT support requirements low.

Aruba Networks deployed an enterprise Wi‑Fi solution (about 50 access points) to deliver campus‑wide coverage, easy device onboarding, and user‑aware access controls that handle high device density. The outcome was reliable, everywhere access for students and teachers, uninterrupted use of learning platforms and multimedia, a significant drop in support requests, and a scalable, future‑proof network ready for next‑generation Wi‑Fi.
