The Golden State Warriors and Chase Center set out to redefine the live-event experience across their 11-acre campus, but faced the challenge of supporting real-time, data‑heavy services for thousands of devices and 18,000+ fans during events. They needed reliable, low-latency connectivity to power ticketing, transit info, wayfinding with 800+ beacons, mobile food ordering, interactive scoreboard features and the facility’s operational systems — all while keeping payments and critical systems securely segmented.

To solve this, Chase Center partnered with HPE Aruba Networking to deploy Wi‑Fi 6E access points (upgrading 250+ APs), CX switches, Aruba beacons and ClearPass policy management, plus centralized management tools. The upgrade delivered massive bandwidth and low latency, role‑based traffic segmentation for security and IoT readiness, and a smoother app-driven fan experience (faster ordering, real‑time wayfinding, fan cam). The result is a future‑proofed network that increases engagement, scales for growth, and enables new low‑latency experiences like AR/VR.
