A HPE Aruba Networking Case Study
Cheminova, a Denmark‑based global supplier of crop‑protection products with production sites and offices around the world, struggled with an aging, manually managed Wi‑Fi setup that lacked monitoring, didn’t scale well and drove up IT overheads and telecom costs. The company needed a centrally managed, reliable wireless solution that would support mobility, BYOD and secure remote access across its international sites.
Cheminova deployed Aruba’s unified Wi‑Fi (Mobility Controller, ~54 APs and 6 RAPs) with separate secure and guest/BYOD networks and RAPs for secure travel use. The new infrastructure is managed from headquarters, improved visibility and performance tuning, enabled a move from costly MPLS links to regular Internet connections, simplified connectivity for remote workers and is being scaled further with AirWave for long‑term monitoring.
