Caddies Creek Public School embraces secure high speed Wi-Fi across its learning environments to facilitate 21st century teaching

Caddies Creek Public School, a modern primary in Glenwood with more than 900 students across 36 classrooms, needed a high‑speed, secure Wi‑Fi network to support a major device rollout—about 200 iPads, 160 Microsoft Surface tablets and 50 netbooks—so teachers and students could use technology across lessons without slowdown or heavy IT involvement.

Working with integrator Matrix CNI, the school deployed Aruba Networks access points and an Aruba Virtual Controller, scaling from 23 to 50 APs (covering 75% of the site) to provide automated device onboarding, secure guest access and intelligent bandwidth management. The outcome was reliable wireless for 400+ concurrent devices with 95%+ seamless connections, smooth media and print sharing in class, minimal ongoing IT support and a future‑proof platform for 21st century learning.
