Case Study: Grove City College achieves rapid, streamlined, and sustainable campus networking with HPE Aruba Networking

A HPE Aruba Networking Case Study

Preview of the Grove City College Case Study

Blazing a next-gen, always-on academic trail

Grove City College, a Pittsburgh-based liberal arts institution established in 1876, set out to modernize its campus networking to support digital-first, connected and IoT-enabled learning. The college needed faster infrastructure deployments, simpler procurement and administration, a move to subscription-based consumption, and resilient, secure high-performance wired and wireless experiences for students and staff.

Grove City adopted HPE Aruba Networking with HPE GreenLake for Networking—deploying Aruba access points, CX 8000 and CX 6000 switches, Aruba Central, ClearPass, User Experience Insight, and partnering with NWN Carousel. The NaaS approach accelerated rollouts and increased agility, significantly streamlined procurement and management, and helped the college advance sustainability and carbon‑reduction goals.
