A HPE Aruba Networking Case Study
The Austrian Red Cross (ÖRK) Vorarlberg needed to modernize a fragmented, manual network to support growing digital channels—apps, hybrid training and BYOD—while keeping operational data accessible, consistent and secure across 17 branch locations on a non‑profit budget.
Working with CANCOM, ÖRK deployed a unified HPE Aruba Networking stack (CX switches, branch/head‑end gateways, Wi‑Fi 6 APs, ClearPass and Central) to deliver Zero Trust security, cloud‑native management and Zero Touch Provisioning. The new architecture improved performance and stability, enabled faster branch rollouts (hours instead of days), centralized monitoring and automated policy updates, secured BYOD and delivered roughly 20–30% productivity gains with network management streamlined by about 30%.
