Landmark Hospitality’s Citymax Hotels, a three‑property, 1,300‑room UAE brand serving affluent, tech‑savvy travelers, faced rising guest expectations for instant, high‑performance Wi‑Fi. Their legacy wireless system could not meet coverage, device density or performance needs across sites in Al Barsha, Bur Dubai and Sharjah, and the IT team needed remote, centralized management and a non‑disruptive rollout given year‑round high occupancy.

Citymax deployed an Aruba Wi‑Fi solution—APs and Mobility Controllers—managed centrally with Aruba AirWave (via partner CADD Emirates), using heat‑map design and VisualRF for optimal AP placement and fast troubleshooting. The month‑long, low‑impact implementation delivered pervasive coverage (including elevators and parking), tiered monetized bandwidth, improved security and operational efficiency, faster issue resolution, higher guest satisfaction and a platform for future services like VoWiFi and mobile applications.
