Aruba Wi-Fi facilitates high speed, high security connectivity for 350 staf

The Australian National Audit Office (ANAO) in Canberra supports about 350 highly mobile staff who regularly work in the field. Its legacy wired infrastructure and 300 4G mobile cards were costly and constrained collaboration and mobility, so the ANAO sought a high‑speed, highly secure and scalable wireless solution.

ANAO implemented Aruba 802.11ac access points with ClearPass for access control and AirWave for management, deployed by partner Correct Communications in a three‑month rollout. The new network provides fast, secure in‑building Wi‑Fi with separated guest access, enabling greater collaboration, an estimated 15% productivity improvement and a roughly 5% reduction in IT support costs, while remaining future‑proof for growing mobile needs.
