A HPE Aruba Networking Case Study
Luther College, a 1,200‑student school on a 22‑acre campus in Victoria, Australia, needed a high‑density, always‑available wireless environment to support school‑managed learning devices and student BYOD. Their aging network could not keep up with device growth or the school’s cloud‑based teaching tools, and IT required granular control over staff, student and guest access with zero downtime.
Working with partner HoneyLight Systems, the college deployed Aruba 802.11ac Wave 2 access points plus ClearPass for access control and AirWave for network management. The rollout delivered campus‑wide 802.11ac coverage, unified device and policy management, simple guest provisioning, and increased throughput—resulting in reliable, scalable Wi‑Fi that staff, students and parents report as meeting the school’s digital learning needs.
