Aruba powers award winning New Zealand manufacturer

Methven, a New Zealand–based manufacturer of award‑winning showers, taps and valves, moved into new premises and needed a mobile‑first IT environment. The company required a unified wired and wireless network that could provide pervasive, reliable coverage in a dense manufacturing setting and scale to support staff BYOD and large numbers of guest connections.

Working with partner Softsource, Methven deployed Aruba 802.11ac access points alongside an HPE wired backbone to create a centrally managed, unified network. The rapid, seamless rollout delivered blanket Wi‑Fi coverage that enabled flexible workspaces, increased staff productivity, and reliably connected machinery, ERP and communications tools, while future ClearPass and AirWave plans further secure and streamline guest access and network monitoring.
