Case Study: Mukuru achieves workplace mobility and reduced network management burden with HPE Aruba Networking

A HPE Aruba Networking Case Study

Preview of the Mukuru Case Study

Aruba partner powers digital transformation of Africa’s next generation financial services platform

Mukuru is a “Next Gen Financial Services Platform” serving more than eight million customers across Africa with remittance, card, grocery and insurance offerings, plus a large retail and kiosk network and multilingual call centres. Facing rapid growth, Mukuru needed robust, mobile connectivity across its head office, call centres and branches, reliable guest internet for customers, and a way to reduce the in‑house burden of managing network infrastructure so its teams could focus on service innovation.

Mukuru engaged Aruba MSP partner MySky Networks for a full managed service using Aruba Central MSP, cloud‑managed AP-505/515 access points, Aruba switches and hosted ClearPass with third‑party integrations. The Opex, cloud‑managed model—under clear SLAs and monitoring—meant Mukuru owns no network hardware, gained enterprise Wi‑Fi and seamless workplace mobility, freed its engineering team to prioritize new services, achieved predictable monthly costs, and created a differentiated customer experience that underpins sustainable growth.
