Hôtel Negresco, the iconic five‑star landmark on Nice’s Promenade des Anglais with 99 rooms, suites and multiple event spaces, needed a rapid wireless upgrade because its legacy 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi could no longer meet guest expectations for speed, coverage, QoS or security—particularly for VoIP and high‑density areas.

The hotel deployed Aruba 802.11ac Instant APs (10 IAP‑325 and 45 IAP‑205), Aruba 2530 PoE+ switches and AirWave management, with five SSIDs, captive‑portal access, AP‑level security, QoS for VoIP and automatic channel optimization.
