Next Story Group needed a robust, future-proof network for its new 120-room Sage Hotel Melbourne in Ringwood that could be designed and built in parallel with construction. The brief called for high-density wired and wireless connectivity and a unified infrastructure to support telephony, IPTV, CCTV, guest and corporate services while allowing rapid deployment and easy scaling.

Aruba delivered an off-site built, fully tested solution using 3810M/2930M switches, 10G fibre backhaul and 50 Aruba 802.11ac Wave 2 access points (scalable to 128), enabling rapid on-site install. The result is a reliable, unified network that supports seamless guest services (Wi‑Fi, streaming, check-in and back‑of‑house systems), has required no major support call-outs, and is future-ready for IoT, cloud management and analytics.
