Aruba ClearPass enables secure and robust connectivity for thousands of users in a multi-vendor environment

UST Global, a digital-transformation services firm with over 20,000 employees, needed secure, seamless connectivity across a multi-vendor wired and wireless campus. With thousands of endpoints connecting daily and users increasingly bringing personal devices, IT faced challenges around guest access, device compliance, bandwidth management and protecting critical business data.

UST deployed Aruba 802.11ac APs and 7200 Mobility Controllers with Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager and ClearPass OnGuard (integrated with Microsoft Intune and AirWatch) to enforce role-based access, automate guest onboarding, perform endpoint posture checks, and quarantine or remediate noncompliant devices. The result was a secure, scalable and easier-to-manage network that improved user experience, tightened access control, delivered centralized visibility and prepared the environment for an influx of smart devices.
