Case Study: Stanley Park High School achieves campus-wide seamless wireless roaming and mobile-first learning with HPE Aruba Networking

A HPE Aruba Networking Case Study

Preview of the Stanley Park High School Case Study

Aruba central to success of mobile-first strategy at pioneering UK school

Stanley Park High, a pioneering comprehensive school on the outskirts of London, set out to transform learning with a mobile-first, human-scale education model. Faced with an ageing ICT estate and a need to move from fixed IT suites to scalable, always-on wireless that supports cloud-based teaching, the school required a future-proof network able to handle growing device numbers and modern, flexible learning spaces.

The school deployed Aruba Central cloud management with 802.11ac Wave 2 Instant APs, Aruba 2930F switches and ArubaOS 8, implemented and supported by Medhurst. The solution delivers seamless high-performance roaming, 24x7 availability and management simplicity, enabling Google Classroom and schoolwide Chromebook use, capacity for roughly 2,000 concurrent devices, freed-up physical space and a platform for future IoT and smart-building initiatives.
