Amwaj Rotana Upgrades to High-Speed Hotel-Wide Wi-Fi for Guests with Latest Wireless Solutions from Aruba

Amwaj Rotana at Jumeirah Beach Residence in Dubai needed to modernize its hotel Wi‑Fi as guests increasingly expected to connect multiple mobile devices. The hotel’s existing 802.11n network, thick concrete room walls, high occupancy and the need for minimal guest disruption made it essential to improve coverage, capacity and simplify management.

Working with Aruba and partner Precedence, Amwaj Rotana deployed Aruba 802.11ac indoor/outdoor APs and a 7200 Series Mobility Controller, completing the rollout in under two months. Coverage rose from 75% to about 92%, guest satisfaction with internet services improved by 15% within a month, help‑desk calls fell and remote management reduced maintenance effort—creating a robust platform for future upgrades like smart TVs and added redundancy.
