JobRad, a German bicycle-leasing pioneer working with 50,000 employer clients and over 600 staff, outgrew a mixed, consumer-grade IT environment as it moved into a new head office and adopted hybrid work and shared-desk practices. Working with Aruba and partner Bechtle, JobRad deployed a unified wired and wireless solution—Aruba access points, mobility controllers and conductor, core and access switches, ClearPass NAC, Policy Enforcement Firewalls and AirWave—preconfigured in a lab for fast rollout. The result is a high-performance mobile workplace with VoIP call-centre support, seamless roaming, automated device identification and secure policy enforcement, plus clean network segmentation for subsidiaries and the capacity to scale as the business and campus expand.
