A HPE Aruba Networking Case Study
Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Company (ADNEC) operates a 73,000 sqm exhibition centre hosting 100+ events a year and 1.8 million visitors. Its seven-year‑old wireless infrastructure was delivering slow speeds and frequent dropouts, harming visitor and exhibitor experience, reputation and revenue.
ADNEC replaced the legacy system with an Aruba 802.11ac solution (436 indoor + 14 outdoor APs), 7200‑series controllers, AirWave and ClearPass, deployed in just 15 days. The upgrade raised Wi‑Fi satisfaction to 95% (from 70–80%), increased free service speeds from 5Mbps to 150Mbps per device, supported thousands of simultaneous connections at major events, eliminated AP failures, enabled real‑time crowd management and extended the platform to CCTV, signage, payments and future IoT initiatives.
