Veidekke Sweden takes on Stockholm’s largest environmental project with Hoylu

Veidekke ASA, Norway’s largest construction and civil engineering company, used Hoylu to support the massive Sickla wastewater tunnel project in Stockholm. The highly complex, five-year infrastructure build required extremely precise short-interval planning, careful logistics, and strong coordination in tight underground spaces, but the team was spending too much time in Excel and needed a more flexible way to plan and involve everyone in production.

With Hoylu, Veidekke replaced much of its Excel-based planning with a more visual, configurable platform that made it easier to analyze plans, follow up on issues, and plan collaboratively. Hoylu’s automatic metrics such as percent plan complete (PPC) and variance reasons reduced time spent on plan analysis and meetings, improved information sharing and team engagement, and was quickly adopted even by senior staff. Veidekke also found Hoylu easy to integrate alongside tools like Power Project.
