WaterAid automates clean and safe inboxes with Hoxhunt

WaterAid, an international nonprofit with about 2,000 employees, faced frequent phishing attacks across a large attack surface and was getting stagnant results from a legacy security awareness training tool. The IT Security Team needed a more effective, low-resource way to improve resilience, behavior, and inbox safety.

Hoxhunt helped WaterAid replace its legacy SAT approach with automated, adaptive phishing training and employee threat reporting, integrated with Abnormal Security for real-time analysis and response. The results included a doubled success rate to 60%, a 50% decrease in failure rate, and a 162% increase in real threat detections over 181 days, with one BEC attack removed from inboxes within seconds.
