Ahlstrom, a global leader in fiber-based specialty materials with 7,000 employees, needed to protect its operational technology (OT) environment from phishing and other cyber threats that could disrupt production and cause major financial and operational damage. Hoxhunt’s security awareness and phishing training was used to help strengthen cybersecurity behavior across the organization.

Hoxhunt implemented adaptive, organization-wide training for both blue- and white-collar employees, helping Ahlstrom build measurable phishing and cybersecurity skills with low maintenance effort from the internal team. The case study says the failure rate decreased as users completed more simulations, even as the exercises became more challenging, while Hoxhunt also helped create a more alert culture and improve resilience around OT security.
