A Howspace Case Study
Optimé International, a consulting and learning services organization, needed to preserve the “magic” of its large in-person training sessions as COVID-19 pushed its programs online. Its main challenge was figuring out how to deliver engaging virtual learning for groups that had previously ranged from 40 to 300 participants, while maintaining the quality and impact of the classroom experience.
Working with Howspace, Optimé trained all facilitators in virtual facilitation and rebuilt its programs around blended learning, smaller live sessions, and asynchronous activities before and after class. The result was higher engagement, less learner fatigue, better peer relationships, and a safer space for participation across learning styles; Optimé also became able to adapt training in real time and deliver just-in-time learning more effectively.
