Building A Community Around A 3-Day Conference

Toronto Change Days, organized by Nik Beeson and Rich Batchelor, wanted to host an immersive festival of change for 80+ global change professionals, but they needed a way to keep conference conversations meaningful before, during, and after the 3-day event. They brought in Howspace to help move discussions beyond superficial networking and one-way presentations, and to support interactive dialogue around agility, boundaries, and curiosity.

Howspace provided a workspace for workshop pages, agendas, participant reflection, and direct discussion via email invites, making it easy for facilitators and attendees to engage throughout the conference. The result was increased participant feedback, more effective communication, and ongoing conversations that continued for days after the event, with people still discussing ideas and making plans weeks later.
