Case Study: EAT advances global food system consultations with Howspace

A Howspace Case Study

Preview of the EAT Case Study

Bringing broken food systems to light with global dialogues

EAT, a non-profit focused on transforming the global food system through science, disruption, and partnerships, needed a way to engage a diverse global audience for its EAT-Lancet 2.0 consultations. The organization wanted a tool that could connect stakeholders from around the world, capture their experiences and needs, and support a secure, multilingual dialogue at scale.

Howspace provided the interactive online platform EAT used to run its global consultations, with customizable workspaces, Superchat, Live widgets, polls, embedded media, and real-time translation. With Howspace, EAT hosted more than 75 consultations with over 5,000 participants, gathered feedback in a secure anonymized environment, and downloaded responses for analysis, helping inform the scientific review with insights on challenges, opportunities, gaps, and stakeholder perceptions.
