How Hostfully enables a hybrid vacation rental management company and booking agency with its open API

TheStella.com, founded by Amber DelPiano, is a boutique vacation rental management service and booking agency that hand-picks high-end, authentic properties—many listed only on niche, non-English OTAs or not listed online at all. Amber’s challenge was connecting those scattered listings to major platforms and a direct booking site while remotely managing guest communications and pricing; traditional PMS tools lacked an open API to import, sync and distribute that mix of imported and manually created listings.

Hostfully solved this by building a custom integration into its Property Management Platform (PMP) using the Hostfully open API and a direct booking site widget. The PMP fetches listings from niche OTAs, lets Amber tailor them for North American guests, distributes them to Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, the original OTA and TheStella.com, and automatically blocks calendars across all channels when reservations occur. With Hostfully, TheStella.com now has automated multi-channel distribution, unified calendar sync, and automatic imports to its site—enabling scalable remote management and eliminating much of the manual work Amber faced.
