Automated self-check-in leads to huge time savings

Wydaho Property Management, a full-service vacation rental manager owned by Jim Sheehan at the base of the Teton Range, needed a secure, scalable self‑check-in solution because lockboxes were insecure and hiring staff for arrivals wasn’t viable. To automate guest communications and centralize operations, Wydaho implemented Hostfully’s property management platform (PMP) and digital guidebooks alongside smart locks and device integrations.

Hostfully’s PMP was set up to trigger Lynx to generate unique, time‑limited smart‑lock codes and to create and send secure digital guidebooks with those codes (and deliver unique codes to turnover staff). Time‑based Hostfully rules also adjust smart thermostats before and after stays. The result: Hostfully eliminated lockbox security risks, cut manual coordination and labor, enabled remote temperature control to lower energy bills, and saved Wydaho time while boosting its bottom line.
