Vital Voices Global Partnership amplifies 5 women’s stories with Hook

Vital Voices Global Partnership, an organization dedicated to supporting women leaders and combating gender-based violence, sought to amplify the stories of the extraordinary women it celebrates annually. To bring their portraits to life, they partnered with vendor Hook and used Google Lens technology to create an interactive experience.

Hook developed a series of five Lens-enabled images that, when scanned, revealed each woman's moving story through animation and her own words. The solution was deployed at global events, including a gala attended by high-profile figures. The result was a highly engaging exhibition where thousands of attendees experienced the stories firsthand and helped spread the mission, leading to hundreds of postcards being written and shared. Hook's work successfully amplified these vital voices on a global scale.
