A Honorlock Case Study
Seton Hall University needed a scalable, flexible way to support online exams while protecting academic integrity during its rapid shift to remote learning. After piloting multiple platforms and encountering concerns around cost, customization, privacy, and security, the university chose Honorlock online proctoring to better meet the needs of faculty and students.
With Honorlock, Seton Hall implemented a quick LMS integration and a flat-rate proctoring model that made online testing more predictable and affordable. The solution gave faculty the ability to customize exam rules, support nontraditional assessments, and proctor tests outside of class time, while also helping reduce privacy concerns through clear student education. According to Seton Hall CIO Paul Fisher, Honorlock became part of the university’s basic toolset for scaling online assessments and improving the overall testing experience.
