Zehnder's easy migration from Redwood CPS to BatchMan Workload Automation

Zehnder, a global company focused on indoor climate solutions, needed to replace Redwood CPS for batch job processing after SAP ended support for the free version. HONICO was shortlisted along with Redwood BPA, and Zehnder’s main requirements were to preserve job networks and dependencies while keeping job definitions transportable across the system landscape.

HONICO implemented BatchMan Workload Automation, which fit Zehnder’s SAP environment, supported transport management, and avoided the extra operating costs of a new Java server. The migration was completed smoothly and largely independently, with BatchMan successfully mapping all prior process chains, enabling step-by-step cutover, and eliminating the need to rebuild hundreds of jobs after system copies—improving automation and lowering total cost of ownership.
