Möbel Pfister AG, one of Switzerland’s largest furniture retailers, needed to process daily POS data quickly enough to support merchandise planning and on-time goods delivery within a very tight four-hour window. After implementing IS-Retail, transfer tests showed runtimes of 15 to 20 hours, making it impossible to reschedule sales and load goods on time without a software-based alternative. The company turned to HONICO and its BatchMan solution to address the challenge.

HONICO implemented BatchMan to distribute workload across SAP instances and optimize POS interface processing without additional hardware. The result was a 4–5x performance improvement, reducing daily maintenance and monitoring to about one hour and enabling same-day dispatching. HONICO also helped Möbel Pfister AG achieve 100% system availability, lower error rates, and meet the planned implementation date while avoiding extra hardware costs.
