regio iT, the largest municipal IT service provider in North Rhine-Westphalia, needed to make SAP HCM payroll and follow-up processes more efficient for around 75 municipalities. Its challenge was to automate time-critical, compliance-heavy billing tasks while avoiding manual errors, delays, and extra staffing effort. To address this, regio iT turned to HONICO’s BatchMan workload automation software.

With HONICO’s BatchMan, regio iT automated payroll accounting, payment file creation, reporting, and related follow-up activities for more than 100 company codes. The solution enabled error-free processing, clear monitoring, and automated delivery of reporting files, saving around 4 to 5 working days per month and about 5 days of work each month overall, while integrating all departments into the SAP HCM process.
