Viessmann IT Service GmbH, the central IT service provider for the Viessmann Group, needed a better integrated scheduling solution during its SAP R2 to R3 migration. After previously using CA Workload Automation CA-7 outside of SAP, the company wanted an R3-capable, SAP-integrated system that could handle dependent nested process flows more easily.
HONICO’s BatchMan was implemented to replace CA-7, and the migration was completed in just two days without friction. The solution automated 5,300 jobs and 11,500 steps across key business areas, cut staffing needs to one to two people for job control, and delivered well over 50% savings in manpower, along with lower error rates, greater transparency, and a smooth later migration to SAP S/4HANA.
