EGGER, the international wood processing company, needed to reorganize and optimize its SAP background processing while switching to SUSE Linux Enterprise on HP hardware. Its existing SAP job control had limits in monitoring, recovery, event-driven scheduling, and documentation, making centralized control difficult. HONICO’s BatchMan was selected as the third-party job scheduler to address these challenges.
