Trasluz Casual Wear Stitches Up Stylish Efficiency with an RFID Solution from Intermec by Honeywell

Trasluz Casual Wear, a children’s fashion brand based in Burgos, Spain, faced rapid international expansion and needed to automate logistics, trace every garment end-to-end, speed up stock processes and reduce errors and shrinkage. To meet these challenges the company worked with Honeywell (using the Intermec by Honeywell RFID portfolio) to evaluate and deploy a passive UHF RFID identification system integrated with its management software.

Honeywell’s solution—IF2 and IF61 fixed readers, IA36 antennas, rugged handhelds with IP4/IP30 RFID handles, POS readers and middleware developed with TAG Ingenieros—enabled source tagging at production, portal reads at the warehouse, RFID-assisted picking, in‑store stock checks and anti‑theft checkpoints. The implementation cut goods‑receipt time by half, made dispatches 100% reliable, reduced warehouse staffing needs, allowed shop stock counts in under an hour and full warehouse audits in one day by two people, and automated reverse logistics—delivering faster, more accurate inventory control and improved customer service.
