A Honeywell Case Study
Stampede Tack & Western Wear, a long‑running retail and warehouse operation in Cloverdale, British Columbia, needed better protection for a 10,000 sq. ft. store that carries high‑value inventory (boots up to $900 and saddles up to $3,500). After experiencing shoplifting and a break‑in, the store engaged security partner Panarama Technologies to upgrade its system and selected Honeywell products—including Honeywell HB70 cameras and the HRDP H.264 digital video recorder with the Honeywell Remote‑View app—to provide comprehensive, modern surveillance.
Panarama installed sixteen Honeywell cameras and the HRDP H.264 DVR, enabling real‑time remote viewing from a computer, cell phone or Apple iTouch via the free Honeywell Remote‑View app. The system has improved security (allowing quick verification of alarms and video evidence for police), sped incident resolution at the counter, and increased employee effectiveness. Stampede Tack is also using Honeywell footage to analyze customer traffic patterns to drive future marketing and sales improvements.
