Refinery Implements Real-Time Integrated Decision Support System

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, operating a major refinery, struggled to respond quickly to adverse plant conditions because existing MES data was not timely or actionable. To address this, the customer piloted a Honeywell solution using Honeywell Uniformance® Asset Sentinel and Honeywell Intuition™ Executive to create a real-time integrated decision support system for a crude preheater in the CDU.

Honeywell implemented equipment performance modeling, contextual dashboards and SharePoint-based workflows to provide early detection of abnormal conditions and real-time KPI visibility. The Honeywell solution enabled faster, fact-based decisions, improved operational efficiency, maximized existing technology investments, enhanced real-time response to incidents and reduced system administration costs by replacing point-to-point integrations with a single, maintainable platform.
