Leading Petroleum Logistics Services Company, a Poland-based operator of pipelines and storage terminals supporting domestic and EU fuel supplies, needed to centralize tank gauging data from five sites to improve inventory control, measurement accuracy and enterprise scalability. The customer engaged Honeywell technology—primarily the ControlEdge RTU (integrated with Experion SCADA and Enraf CIU units)—to address remote data acquisition, reduce interfaces and give operations a single view of critical tank information.

Honeywell’s solution, delivered with local integrator Sensor ACM, deployed ControlEdge RTUs to collect and consolidate level, volume and mass data (via Modbus/DNP3) from third‑party gauges into Experion SCADA. The result: centralized access to all tank gauging data across the five terminals, improved operational visibility for optimized pumping and logistics, and measurable benefits including reduced power consumption, integrated field device management and a lower total cost of ownership delivered by Honeywell.
