The Netherlands Coastguard operates two Dornier 228 aircraft on life-and-death North Sea missions and needed engines and support that deliver 24x7 availability and reliability up to 150 miles offshore and 1,000 feet above the sea. The result: aircraft remain constantly available for emergency duties, deliver longer maintenance intervals and improved performance (exceptional horsepower, quick throttle response, shorter takeoffs, better fuel economy), enabling the Netherlands Coastguard to sustain high operations tempo (about 2,000 flight hours/year) with reliable Honeywell support.
