Unifaun, the maker of Pacsoft Online used by some 50,000 Swedish shipping companies, needed a compact, industrial-grade thermal printer to satisfy the Swedish Post Office’s strict label requirements for high-volume shippers (50+ labels/day). Because Unifaun focuses on software rather than hardware, CEO Staffan Isaksson tested printers across Europe and selected Honeywell’s MP family—specifically the MP Compact Mobile and MP Nova—to meet durability, size and label-length needs.

Honeywell’s MP Compact Mobile and MP Nova were deployed to handle Sweden’s long (250 mm) labels, fit tight packing stations, and even mount to forklifts using forklift power. The result: in seven years Unifaun installed more than 500 MP Compact Mobile units and more than 1,000 shippers now use Honeywell printers, with only one Honeywell unit damaged versus 25 failures among 500 competitor units—delivering reliable, space-saving printing and measurable efficiency gains in pick-and-pack operations.
